South Lanarkshire Services
Posted by T Penman on Tuesday 24th February 2009
Hi There
Just a note of thanks to P.A.A for their support in offering services to many young people from South Lanarkshire.
Having entered into partnership with the P.A.A and the Barony College. 50 one day placements were uptaken by young people often disengaged from many services from the streets of South Lanarkshire and were registered in education on many occasions for the first time.
Well done to Martin and the staff of P.A.A. with many thanks to the staff at Barony for their proffesionalism and dedication in working with these young people.
On a side, there are those who are looking to return to the Barony College to develop further their interests in the Great Outdoors due to this work.

Posted by Billy Anderson on Thursday 10th July 2008
Hi there.
I was part of a recent days fishing at the Barony College with 2 young people within my care. I just wanted to thank the instructors present on the day who made everyone feel at ease and have confidence in their fishing........so much so that one of my lads caught the only trout of the day!!!
Thank you once again for a fantastic day.

We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to Martin and his coaches.Their contribution was exceptional, with their ability to cover all the aims of the course and make students look at the enviroment from the otters to the wild flowers that were present at the Loch. The Service Users from the ARC who attended were accepted as people , able to socialise with other participants and participate in a sport the same as everyone else, able to develop new skills and derive pleasure and achievement from the sessions.
Thank You
