Barony College - Barony College in partnership with ourselves launched our Angling Academy in March 2008. With a combination of education and professional angling coaching, this partnership is developing successfully with the College becoming a Centre of Excellence through the Scottish Federation. To date we have been working with adults and youngsters with learning difficulties, encouraging participants to take part so no-one is excluded and building their confidence, while also bringing in the educational side, teaching enviromental issues through angling.
We have also worked along with school groups with both novice and experienced anglers, giving them a Taster session at Barony College Fish Farm followed by practical sessions at Dormont Lake.
